The Building
The side brick walls are hand beveled for dust free operation. The bricks soak up the heat during the firing process and releases the heat slowly and evenly after shut off to assure proper cooling. This added feature helps prevent cracking of the bricks. Also it reduces brick dusting on your work. This is a fabulous feature.

The Wall
A durable 20 gauge stainless steel body encases the exterior of each Glass Glow Kiln. Maximum firing temperature not to exceed 1700º

The Elements
4 - 8 elements on the top (depending on kiln)

- Shelf 4" off the floor, it heats the glass evenly
- Shelf 6" off the floor, the glass heats up in the middle first
